Atomic Tonic

I think something terrible happened on April 1st. I think Matilda contracted her first cold. I'm thinking, right, because the shots had her out of sorts for a few days, sure, but 4 days out of sorts followed up on the 5th day with snorting and sneezing and a running nose? Kid has had a Rough week, is all I'm saying. Today the snot came but also periods of smiling and kicking her feet to the sound of our voices. Also, three naps. We haven't seen the smiles or the naps in the past 4 days. We're all very happy to see both making a comeback. I'm hoping the pain was all in the build-up and now we can dispense the Children's Cherry Tylenol when the situation gets dire and use the bulb syringe and ocean drops at regular intervals to keep her pipes clear for the screams.
