Yesterday while I was in the bathroom Matilda rolled from her back to her front under the watchful eye of her farmor*.
One day last week, Niclas placed Matilda belly down on the bed. As soon as he removed his hands she rolled onto her back. We were unsure how to clasify that. Did she roll? Or was it just a continuation of Niclas' momentum?
Since I've left the bathroom, Matilda has rolled back to front three more times. Clearly, she's doing this on her own.
She's not even 14 weeks old and already she's rolling the hard way. She's also bringing her hands together and rubbing them like a mini Dr. Evil and is thisclose to grabbing the toys that hang from the mobile over her changing table.
She's showing interest in bright plastic toys a bit and can sometimes sit still long enough to read a book with me. However, she spends more time standing (assisted) and sitting upright (also assisted) than she does looking at the pages of Dr. Seuss books.
Her determination will have us baby-proofing the house before summer even gets started.
