4 Months, 8 Pounds, 12 Ounces, First Cereal

Listening to the Pediatrician

Matilda had her 4 month pediatrician appointment today. Overall, it went well. She's healthy and got some lungs on her, she does. Only thing -- she's 4 months old and hasn't hit 10 pounds yet. While this was clear without having an official weigh-in, having the pediatrician tell us that some women make whole milk and some make 2% AND CLEARLY I'M MAKING 2% and we might want to get her started on some cereal because BABY NEEDS SOME FAT sort of felt like a slap across the chest.

I know it's not like I can do anything about my 2%, but boy do I feel guilty. Hi! Welcome to parenthood!
