Math Skills

I nursed Matilda yesterday morning at 9:00 before I left the house. Went to work and had the first of two pumping sessions at 11:30. Pumped 2.5 ounces while reading an Obstetrics & Gynecology textbook. (Actually CACKLED at the case study that said "A breastfeeding woman presents with a sore breast two weeks postpartum. What's the likely problem and course?" CLOGGED MILK DUCT. APPLY HEAT AND NURSE. *snaps fingers* I could so do this OB/GYN thing for a living. Pass the speculum.)

Called home after pumping to learn that Matilda had eaten 3.5 ounces after a morning walk. Had second pumping session at 3:00. Collected 2.5 ounces. Left the office at 4, ran an errand and arrived home at 6 to Matilda, hungry. She had blow through all 8 stored ounces and wanted more. Around 2 ounces more.

I pumped half of what Matilda required in my absense. This is not good.
