We've been putting Matilda on her potty when we change her diapers for a few days now. We make a "ssss ssss ssss" noise and she honestly thinks it's the funniest thing we do with her. We also make the "ssss" noise when we hear her pooping. Hoo boy no missing that sound -- the pooping.
We're trying to get her to associate the "ssss" noise with going to the bathroom, see. We're planning a weekend of diaper-free baby soon so we can watch her and see what she does before she goes to the bathroom so once we slap a diaper back on her, we'll know when we need to take it off.
Today, Niclas timed it right and got her to pee in the potty! Lucky for her, we took pictures and posted it on the internet.
My mother is going to be babysitting for Matilda once I go back to work (July) and I bet she is Totally Excited to help toilet train a 6 month old.
