If You're Happy and You Know It

A girl and her monkey

Yesterday Matilda turned 10 months old. It's the first in a long line of double digits for her. In fact, in some things, she's already hit triple digits. For example, she already owns three stuffed monkeys. She loves monkeys, this kid. She's going to want a monkey instead of a pony, maybe. But monkeys don't make the best pets what with their poo-flinging capabilities.

The monkey-owning might be a problem, down the line. Right now, though, the monkey-owning is stuffed and adorable, what with her resting her head on them.
